Sunday School Youth in 6th through 12th grades are encouraged to participate in one of the Sunday morning classes focused on the needs & interests of today's young adults. |

Youth Fellowship Our Sunday evening youth ministry, from 5-7 PM, includes a time of fun, eating, worship and learning. We also gather often for other events ranging from giant food fights and midnight bowling to mission opportunities and fundraisers. Wednesday nights the youth gather to let loose in our gym with games and fun. |

Trips & Project For at least 15 years, we have attended Jubilee Weekend at Lake Junaluska, an energetic and spiritaully reviviing weekend. We also participate in several service projects every year which have recently included the Rural Affordable Housing project and WNCC Mission Response Center. Once a year the youth enjoy a cool weekend in the mountains skiing and fellowship. |

Music The Joyful Noise Choir includes children & youth (4th through 12th graders) and performs often at the worhsip services and fellowship dinners. |

| Hawthorne Lane is a SAFE SANCTUARY congregation. That means all workers with children undergo background checks, CPR training and the church follows a careful process of security measures iwth the facility and adult supervision. | |
