The Urban Ministry Center is an inter-faith organization that serves the poor, needy and homeless in Charlotte. Their programs include a Soup Kitchen and Room In The Inn. |
February Loaves & Fishes |
We provide both monetary and food donations to Loaves & Fishes, a non-denominational organization founded and run by area religious congregations. It supplies a week's worth of groceries to each family in crisis and is designed to assist those who have exhausted other options for support. |

March Second Harvest Food Bank |
Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM) strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food.Additionally Second Harvest Food Bank provides a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. We also provide training, consultation, technical assistance, and hunger education to our partner agencies. |

April Bethlehem Center |
The Bethlehem Center is a non-profit agency providing a wide range of services to inner-city residents throughout Charlotte-Mecklenburg. In its relationship with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, provides and integrates human services to low-income residents of Mecklenburg County. we have special offerings at our Christmas Eve services which is traditionally designated to the Bethlehem Center. |

May Project AGAPE |
Project AGAPE is a ministry to Armenia and to some of our most desperate Christian brothers and sisters. It is a collaborative effort of the North Carolina and the Western North Carolina Conferences of The United Methodist Church in a joint effort with the Armenian Apostolic Church. |

July WNCC Mission Response Center |
The WNNC Mission Response Center is a permanent and secure facility to store equipment when not deployed; sort, repack and ship resources overseas; warehouse building materials and supplies; and offer a hands-on mission project for volunteers in the conference. |

September A Child's Place |
A Child's Place is a community organization that works in collaboration with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to provide education and support services, and to advocate for children and their families who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. |

The Mission of the Uptown Shelter is to care for people who are homeless and to provide them opportunities to rebuild their lives. |

November Crisis Assistance |
The Crisis Assistance Ministry provides emergency financial assistance, which helps prevent evictions, utility disconnections, and hunger. They also have a Clothing & Furniture Assistance, which provides clothing, household items, and furniture to low- income families at no cost. Another program is Partners in Hope, which matches families and supportive groups. |

December Salvation Army's Women's Shelter |
Families who are hungry, homeless, and hurting can come to The Salvation Army's Center of Hope to be fed, sheltered, clothed, trained, and most importantly, loved through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. |
