Music & Mission

First United Methodist and Hawthorne Lane United Methodist are joining musical forces to share a concert of exceptional music all focused around the heart of missions. Please join us October 14 at 4pm. On the program is Joseph Haydn’s Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo
(Little Organ Mass) written for St. John who focused his life’s work calling for help for those in need of mental health support. Additionally they’ll perform Hope for Resolution by Paul Caldwell – a celebration of diversity combining an anti-apartheid chant with a European hymn tune and For Everyone Born Arr. Tom Trenney
- an artful arrangement proclaiming justice, hope, and love for all.

We are excited to share our love of music with our passion for helping those in need. We invite you to bring donations for Charlotte CROP to share in the offering while we sing together.
